assert_obs_metadata_fields_equal

lsst.images.tests.assert_obs_metadata_fields_equal(actual, expected, *, label='')

Assert that two ObservationInfo or VisitInfo field values are equal.

Dispatches on the type of expected so that values affected by afw’s float64 date storage, unit conversions, and angle wrapping are compared with appropriate tolerances; anything else is compared with ==.

Parameters:

• actual (object) – The field value to check.

• expected (object) – The field value to check it against.

• label (str, optional) – Prefix for the failure message.
